During this course we researched the effect of information framing on charitable behavior, using the lab methodology. Within lab every detail matters, which taught me to be very accurate and exact in setting-up our study and analyzing the data.

By collectively reflecting on the different methodologies, lab, field and showroom, I learned about the differences in both approach and objective. Personally I was intrigued by the combination of lab and field research. I like to research the design, the user(s) and the context as a whole, while taking into account all possible relations and effects, which is not possible in lab research.
